For over 100 years, the Michigan Marching Band has thrilled thousands of fans with exciting performances that have made this one of the greatest college bands in the country. She follows a quick mash-up of her biggest hit from each of her albums by thanking us for the support we’ve given her over the years. The USSBA competitions registers participation from over 700 schools, of which 50 schools are selected to compete for a championship. Audition packets are available at the high school band  [[https://DrumCorps.net|Drum Corps Videos]] room and I (Mr. Smigell) will be VISITING BOTH MIDDLE SCHOOLS this Friday, so I will bring along a bunch of [[http://rt.com/search/everywhere/term/audition%20packets/|audition packets]] with me to distribute. These elaborate band shows are modeled through software, but the execution is managed by section leaders and band directors.

I plan on creating something with the kids that will make as worthwhile experience as I possibly can WITHIN THE REALM OF SAFETY. It includes much more interesting music theory, an improved practice monitor for instruments, a music writing/composition program and even a recording/beat making app! The last concert of the year, so don't miss it! The Glass Bowl seats 26,000 and hosts some of the most exciting college football in the country! Football is big in town, but at Odessa High School, the award-winning marching band is a source of pride. They did things like hiring a SECOND (and useless) football coach for a failing team instead of helping us with buying new uniforms and instruments when the old ones were falling apart. More than ever, this is a team effort that required everyone's compliance, cooperation, patience, and elbow grease. Q: Which hockey team do marching band guard members cheer for? Band is an optional class, and requires the permission of the instructor to take it. It is going to take some time to sort it out. It's currently in third place all time after knocking "Corn questions from 'Food, Inc.' worksheet" out of the top ten.

Don't worry everything will be solved in due time. BUT marching band will exist again somewhere this year. If Mr. Smigell decides to do pep band at an away game, those are optional. No question is a bother, or silly, especially when you are new to the program! There is a wonderful program that we are about to unveil to everyone called CHARMS. Because we do not beat our children to death for not embracing our ideas, because we do not invade foreign lands in the name of godlessness and slaughter, because we do not hold superstition and bigotry hand in hand, we are given no credibility.
