Step No. 1 - use the one-step, total gun-care spray product and spray the barrel and the cylinder chambers in order to fully remove any fouling present. I spray Prolix down the barrel and through the cylinder chambers to remove fouling, let it sit for a short time, and clean the gun as I would if using a normal powder solvent.
