samsung_unlocking_inst_uctions
General instructions (will work for most phones):
	Turn off your Samsung phone

	Insert a non-accepted sim card (different from the original carrier). 

	Turn on the phone. 

	Slide to unlock and it will ask for the unlock code

	Enter the unlock code you obtained from UnlockRiver.com

	Your phone is now fully unlocked!
If you enter an non-accepted Sim Card and your phone does not prompt to enter Unlock Code:
Method 1:
	Go to the dial screen and press #7465625*638*# 

	Once prompted for code, enter 8 digit Unlock Code provided by unlockriver.com.
Method 2:
	Turn off your Samsung phone

	Insert a non-accepted sim card (different from the original carrier) and turn your phone back on. 

	When prompted for the unlock code type the UNFREEZE code provided.  If you are not prompted, go to your dial screen and type the UNFREEZE code, now press enter, send or call. You will receive an unsuccesfull message, don't worry.

	Once the phone freeze is disabled, the Network lock or SP Lock screen will appear

	For Network lock enter the UNLOCK code provided.  For SP Lock enter the SERVICE PROVIDER code

	Your phone is now fully unlocked!
If you get "unsuccessful" again then hit Dismiss button and type *2767*3855# on phone keypad and try this procedure again (CAUTION! This will reformat all your data!).
Method 3:
	You can try this method without the sim card or with the original sim card

	Type #7465625*638*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code we sent you)

	Phone deactivated message means its unlocked
Method 4:
	You can try this method without the sim card or with the original sim card

	Type: #0111*CODE#  (CODE is the Unlock Code we sent you)
How to enter unlock code on Samsung models: SGH-A127, SGH-E840, SGH-F210, SGH-J600, SGH-T749
	Turn ON your phone without Sim Card

	Type #0111*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code I sent you)

	Device should say "Network Lock Deactivated"

	The phone may reboot and the unlock is completed
How to enter unlock code on Samsung SGH-A877
	Insert an Authorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone

	Device must be in Portrait mode. Hit the Dial button on the touch screen.

	Type #7465625*638*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code we sent you)

	Device should say: "Network Lock Deactivated"

	Phone may automatically reboot
How to enter unlock code on Samsung models: A737, A777, Blackjack SGH-i607, SGH-i616, SGH-i617, SGH-i627, SGH-i637, SGH-A877
	Insert an Authorized Sim Card and turn ON your phone

	Type  #7465625*638*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code we sent you)

	Device should say: "Network Lock Deactivated"

	Phone may automatically reboot
NOTE: If you are unable to connect to service provider or unable to make outgoing calls or receive messages, this has nothing to do with your phone being locked or not, you need to force the Blackjack to change to GSM mode, this can be done as follows:
	Type *#1546792*#

	Select Option 3 Network & Call Settings

	Select option 5 Network Mode

	Select GSM

	This should resolve your problem.
How to enter unlock code on Samsung phones from: AT&T / Cingular BlackJack
	Insert a non-accepted Sim Card and turn ON your phone

	Power on the device. Wait approximately 30 seconds until the Sim Lock application appears (the delay may be longer if the user has already attempted an unlock with the wrong code)

	Enter the unlock code in the blank field

	Press Ok. If the Unlock Code is incorrect, an error dialog will appear.  After pressing Ok on this dialog, the user has to re-enter the Unlock Code after delays (see above in Device Specific Information). If the Unlock Code is correct, a success dialog will appear.

	Press Ok

	The device is now unlocked and should continue booting
NOTE: If you are unable to connect to service provider or unable to make outgoing calls or receive messages, this has nothing to do with your phone being locked or unlocked, you need to force the BlackJack to change to GSM mode, this can be done as follows:
	Power on your Phone

	Type *#1546792*#

	Select Option 3 Network & Call Settings

	Select option 5 Network Mode

	Select GSM
How to enter unlock code on Samsung Models: i450 & i560
	Turn ON your phone without Sim Card

	Type #PW+Unlock Code+1#
The letter P appear after you press star button (*) three times quickly
The letter W appear after you press the star button (*) four times quickly
The letter + appear after you press the star button (*) two times quickly
How to enter unlock code on Samsung J600
Unlock Code is entered as: #0149*UNFREEZE# or #0111*UNLOCK#
How to enter unlock code on Samsung SGH-P207
	Reset to original factory setting by typing *2767*3855#, your phone will reboot

	Insert a non-accepted Sim Card and turn ON your phone

	A Wrong Sim message will appear

	Enter * #9998*3323#

	Exit white screen appear, tap the right soft key, (occasionally it will not go to the next screen, if so press the down key)

	A menu will appears, scroll down to the malloc Fail option, this will reboot, and normal Online Unlocking Service ([[https://wiki.makerbuying.com/index.php/What_Is_A_Network-lock|Wiki.Makerbuying.Com]]) screen will appear

	Enter *0141# and press the green Call key

	Personalized screen appear, the name of the current Sim Card provider will appear on the screen

	Turn [[https://www.storeboard.com/blogs/history/the-only-real-way-to-sim-unlock-any-kind-of-cellular-device/3915983|IMEI phone unlock codes]] OFF, and then turn back ON

	Go to menu by tapping left soft key

	Settings is in bottom right hand corner

	Select option 7 = Security

	Select option 6 = Sim Lock

	Select option 1 = Disable

	Enter 00000000 (eight zeros), the message will come up Sim lock disabled with a check mark; your phone is now unlocked to use with other carriers.
How to enter unlock code on Samsung SGH-T609
	Turn ON your phone without Sim Card

	Type #011*CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code we sent you)

	Device should say: "Network Lock Deactivated"

	Phone may automatically reboot
How to enter unlock code on Samsung Models: Z320i, Z510, Z650i
	Insert a non-accepted Sim Card and turn ON your phone

	Type **CODE# (CODE is the Unlock Code we sent you)
